Por quatro d\u00e9cadas, foi a resid\u00eancia de Lina e seu marido, sendo atualmente a sede do Instituto Bardi, um espa\u00e7o de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o e para visita\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O projeto estrutural foi compartilhado entre o engenheiro italiano <strong>Pier Luigi Nervi<\/strong> (1871-1979), originalmente contratado para o c\u00e1lculo estrutural, e pelo engenheiro brasileiro <strong>Tullio Stucchi<\/strong>, engenheiro projetista de concreto armado da Sociedade Comercial Construtora, contratada para executar o projeto, que precisou ser refeito devido \u00e0 dificuldade de aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de vigas laminadas especiais especificadas por Nervi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Plano de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Em 2016, o projeto de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o de patrim\u00f4nio hist\u00f3rico recebeu o apoio da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Getty para realizar um plano de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o preventiva da Casa de Vidro, que previa, como uma de suas tarefas, identificar a <strong>situa\u00e7\u00e3o de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos sistemas construtivos, em especial sua estrutura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ricardo Couceiro Bento e Jo\u00e3o Adriano Rossignolo contam no artigo <em>Casa de Vidro de Lina Bo Bardi: uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da estrutura<\/em>, publicado na edi\u00e7\u00e3o 101 da Revista <strong>CONCRETO &amp; Constru\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong>, o estudo que fizeram do projeto original da Casa de Vidro, as verifica\u00e7\u00f5es efetuadas dos componentes estruturais da obra e a an\u00e1lise estrutural que levaram a curso para asseverar a seguran\u00e7a e durabilidade de sua estrutura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre os desafios para estimar o estado de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da estrutura, os autores apontam que as pranchas dispon\u00edveis do projeto estrutural n\u00e3o trouxeram informa\u00e7\u00f5es relativas \u00e0s especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do concreto, ao tipo de a\u00e7o utilizado na estrutura e ao detalhamento dos pilares de a\u00e7o-concreto tubulares e de concreto armado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para contornar a aus\u00eancia de
