Trabalhou como engenheiro or\u00e7amentista e nos setores de planejamento e execu\u00e7\u00e3o de obras at\u00e9 ter sua pr\u00f3pria construtora na d\u00e9cada de 1980. Em seguida, passou a ser representante t\u00e9cnico de uma fabricante de moinhos para produ\u00e7\u00e3o de argamassas com os res\u00edduos ciment\u00edcios gerados na pr\u00f3pria obra. Come\u00e7ava ali sua carreira acad\u00eamica na \u00e1rea ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fez mestrado e doutorado em Engenharia Civil na Poli-USP, estudando uso de res\u00edduos cer\u00e2micos reciclados em argamassas e a durabilidade de concretos produzidos com agregados reciclados. \u201cOs ensaios para avaliar a durabilidade dos concretos comprovaram que, com um teor de substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de at\u00e9 30%, n\u00e3o haveria qualquer efeito adverso nas propriedades dos concretos produzidos com agregados reciclados\u201d, nos conta nesta entrevista para a edi\u00e7\u00e3o 104 da Revista ingressou na doc\u00eancia da UNINOVE, onde foi coordenador do curso de Engenharia Civil, no qual foi respons\u00e1vel por montar os laborat\u00f3rios e a estrutura do curso, e pelo cargo de diretor do departamento de Ci\u00eancias Exatas da UNINOVE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Prof. Salomon foi tamb\u00e9m, por nove anos seguidos, coordenador do <strong>CT 206 Meio Ambiente<\/strong> do IBRACON, encarregado da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das edi\u00e7\u00f5es do Semin\u00e1rio de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel e Reciclagem de Res\u00edduos na Constru\u00e7\u00e3o Civil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na sua avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, os agregados reciclados n\u00e3o s\u00e3o ainda t\u00e3o usados na constru\u00e7\u00e3o civil brasileira por conta de sua maior variabilidade em termos de quantidade e qualidade,
