{"id":654,"date":"2022-05-31T19:21:07","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T19:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/?p=654"},"modified":"2025-07-31T02:06:06","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T02:06:06","slug":"pegada-carbono","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/press-releases\/pegada-carbono\/","title":{"rendered":"Decis\u00f5es de engenharia s\u00e3o cruciais para reduzir a pegada de carbono"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A ind\u00fastria da constru\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel por mais de 10% das emiss\u00f5es globais de CO<sub>2<\/sub>, devido principalmente \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de cimento e a\u00e7o, cuja pegada de carbono pode variar mais de 100 kg CO<sub>2eq<\/sub>\/m<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reduzir a pegada de carbono de estruturas de concreto \u00e9 essencial para mitigar as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, que j\u00e1 s\u00e3o sentidas por todos na forma de ondas de calor intenso, chuvas que trazem enchentes, maior frequ\u00eancia de furac\u00f5es de maior intensidade etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quais decis\u00f5es de engenharia podem contribuir mais para reduzir as pegadas de carbono de uma estrutura de concreto armado?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta foi a pergunta que orientou a pesquisa de cientistas do Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnol\u00f3gicas (IPT) e da Escola Polit\u00e9cnica da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (Poli-USP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para respond\u00ea-la, os pesquisadores listaram as vari\u00e1veis pass\u00edveis de serem influenciadas pelas decis\u00f5es relativas ao projeto estrutural, ao fornecimento de materiais e \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o das estruturas de concreto, e calcularam a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o de cada vari\u00e1vel para a varia\u00e7\u00e3o total da pegada de carbono de uma estrutura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essa an\u00e1lise foi feita para <strong>dois cen\u00e1rios de formula\u00e7\u00e3o do concreto<\/strong>: no primeiro cen\u00e1rio, usou-se apenas o <strong>concreto convencional<\/strong>; j\u00e1, no segundo cen\u00e1rio, al\u00e9m do concreto convencional, foi usado um <strong>concreto inovador<\/strong> (alto teor de f\u00edler em substitui\u00e7\u00e3o ao ligante e baixo teor de \u00e1gua).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fatores determinantes para a pegada de carbono das estruturas de concreto armado<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A pegada de carbono de uma estrutura com concreto convencional variou de 162 a 324 t CO<sub>2eq<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"660\" src=\"https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-1024x660.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-1024x660.png 1024w, https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-300x193.png 300w, https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-768x495.png 768w, https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-1536x990.png 1536w, https:\/\/site.ibracon.org.br\/Site_revista\/Concreto_Construcoes\/Concreto_blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Fig4_edit-2048x1320.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Diagrama dos fatores com influ\u00eancia na varia\u00e7\u00e3o da pegada de carbono da estrutura com concreto convencional<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>O fator que mais contribuiu para esta varia\u00e7\u00e3o foi a escolha do tipo de laje (varia\u00e7\u00e3o de 59%). O resultado demonstra a import\u00e2ncia do projetista estrutural na defini\u00e7\u00e3o da pegada de carbono dos edif\u00edcios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O segundo fator mais importante foi a pegada de carbono do cimento composto (23%). Como o teor de cl\u00ednquer varia entre os tipos de cimentos, a escolha do tipo de cimento usado na formula\u00e7\u00e3o do concreto dosado em central \u00e9 uma decis\u00e3o crucial para a pegada de carbono da estrutura.
